"So would I." Tay stacked their plates. "Now we need to get you home to rest." He pulled out his walled and set a ten on the table then stood.

She stood up "Thank you"

"Your welcome." He held out his and and lead them to the register. "Hey Cass." He said setting down the receipt then pulling out his wallet. He paid her and smiled.
"I see you finally brought someone. Turning into a man are ya?" She asked playfully.
"Hey she is a pretty cool person, so but out." He replied faking a frown. "Alex meet Cassie, Cassie meet Alex."
Cassie came out and shook her hand. "Oh it is so good to meet one of his friends. You know he doesn't have many at school." She said smiling.
Cassie was an older lady in her early 70's and had worked at the pasta place for years.

She smiled "I know..." She frowned then said "Maybe because he is too boring" She teased jokingly "Or people are too lame to even give him a chance"

Tay looked away from Cass's glare of death. "Alex what do you mean? Is he fighting again?"
Tay opened his mouth to say something but she shushed him quickly.
"I knew it!" He said hitting him with a menu. "I told you to knock it off Mister! Gah, you are just like your father! I will teach you a lesson young man come hell or high water!"
Tay was holding back a laugh since she wasn't hitting him very hard.
"What are you smiling at? Just because you are the baddest kid in school doesn't mean I can't beat on you once in a while!" Cass exclaimed.
"Cass, I wiil try to keep it to a minimum. Now will you please stop hitting me?"
Cass growled. "You damn wolves. I swear If I hear about one more fight, you will have another one coming." She grabbed his ear and pulled him down. "Got it?"
"Yes ma'am." He replied.
