Tyrson took in her appearance and growled something under his breath.

She stayed silent, hoping he wouldn't beat on her. She shivered a little and coughed slightly, wondering if he'd hit her for it.

He motioned for the retreating men to stop and then inspected her, gently turning her face.

She whimpered softly in pain, she was bruised and scarred. Her eyes immediately dropped to the ground.

"You've damaged her," he said calmly. "She is my property, not yours. I paid for her." He looked at the two men, his face impassive, but a hint of threat behind his eyes. "You will be punished."
