As the guard starts to stab her Lucius rushes forward and grabs his wrist, the guard probably only would have slashed her a little, nothing major or life threatening.

"I ordered you not to, thus you are a traitor and the punishment shall be as such." Lucius whispers in the man's ear and rips the dagger out of the man's hand placing it at his eye. "May the gods frown upon you." He states and shoves it forward, the blade easily entering through the man's flesh and into his brain.

He gasped and collapsed, another guard said "You ordered us to put whoever responsible to death" He says with a snarl. Marceline looked at her Master in fear

"Master...I'm sorry" She said softly and curled up "It wasn't fair...you don't know what goes on...if you did you'd possibly do the sam" She whimpered and quickly shut up, afraid of more pain

He rips the dagger out, cleaning it on the dead man's pants before he stands and glances at her, "You will explain yourself later." He says before looking back to the other guard.

"I also ordered her not to be touched, thus the more recent one is the one you listen to, and you would do well to remember it as such." He says, glaring at the man. "Also, do remember that pissing off the man who trains people like you to be half as good as him is a very bad idea." He says, walking closer to the guard so they stand just a few feet away.

The guards glared at him and left, Marceline kept quiet. She was beginning to fear her Master, she awaited her punishment.

Lucius turns to face her, glaring down at her he speaks. "Well then? What the hell is going on?" He demands.
